Harvey's Bakery and Coffee Shop Announces Their Retirement and Closing After 93 Years

Harvey's Bakery and Coffee Shop, a cherished staple of the Dover community for over 93 years, announces it will be retiring in spring of 2025. This decision comes after much consideration and heartfelt discussions within the Guillemette family, who have lovingly operated the bakery through generations.

Harvey's Bakery was established by Harvey Bernier in 1932. Raymond Guillemette purchased Harvey's Bakery in 1954. His children have continued to operate the business proudly through the years.

Harvey's Bakery and Coffee Shop has been more than just a bakery; it has been a warm gathering place for families, friends, and neighbors. From the smell of freshly baked maple squares to the sweet treats that have marked countless birthdays, celebrations, and holidays.
